Enthusiastic and Aware of Our Particular Needs...

Pedini was exceptionally responsive to our requirements and budget considerations.
Our house is a 1950s bungalow (NOTHING was perfectly level) and they did an astonishing job of masking the imperfections of the space. They
were very "hands on" and unfailingly professional with us every step of the way. It was a real pleasure to work with them to create our kitchen.
They were optimistic about the scheduling to install the kitchen. The number of items that needed to be co-ordinated in the construction process (availability of labour and materials when estimating the installation)was a factor.
However, the process, done right, does take time due to the special construction products and the installation skills required. I know they are working hard to acquire more qualified installers for this high-end product.
Regardless, they were so darned nice (and their sub-trades were equally as painstakingly conscientious) that it was a pleasure to work with them.
We are deliriously happy with the finished product and they truly worked hard to create a sensational kitchen that we use (with great pleasure) every day!..
I am so happy with my kitchen. This is my dream kitchen!

Our experience with Pedini was kind of mixed because there was an incorrect measurement taken for our kitchen, and
being that our kitchen is in Nelson in not in Calgary it takes time to get here.
We felt that for being a high-end cabinet maker that was quite a huge error. As far as how they handled it, at first it was somewhat frustrating. It was the normal type of response, like the floor was uneven and things like that. We spoke with Naomi about it, but we did not receive any feedback from the
installer, even though we sent a few emails and explained exactly what the problem was.
It took awhile before they actually had passed us on to Umberto, who also works there. He came out Nelson and checked it out and
confirmed that there was an incorrect measurement taken. Our cabinets now are a little bit shorter than they should be because of what was done to fix it. As far as the process of getting it fixed, Umberto was really fantastic and I'm not saying that Naomi wasn't, because the whole time I had always asked questions and wanted information and she was great with everything. She is really fantastic to work with, she really is. In fact, she is the reason why I went with WestCoast Kitchens! I went with them not only for the quality of the kitchen, but for Naomi. She definitely was a pleasure to work with.
All in all, it was an excellent experience. Everything turned out really great, even though it was quite the trying experience going through the whole process. It was also trying for them as well. For them, it's very disappointing. When we had first asked them to do the job, my husband specifically asked if the installer was good. It is a 7 1/2 hour drive, so we wanted to make sure they sent the best guy to make sure everything worked well. Hence, this gentleman no longer works for them after this experience. I don't believe he was up to par with WestCoast Kitchens. He didn't really have the experience, as there were certain things he had done on our kitchen that were extremely wrong. Terry had to redo his job, and they could have saved that time by having someone who really cared about the product from the start, and that was definitely Terry in the end. He was very passionate about kitchens, and you could see that. I can't say anything bad about him. He's so fantastic, he really is. They're very lucky to have him, and also Umberto. For him to step up to the plate and take on all the responsibility was fantastic. Umberto is definitely someone who I would recommend to work with, as he definitely understand and knows kitchens.
In the end, our kitchen did work out. They did send in their number 1 installer, which was Terry, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was the best installer ever! The previous installer, once he noticed that there was an error made, should have actually vocalized that. He should have spoken to them right away about it, but instead my husband and I had to defend our position before they actually were able to come and see it with their own eyes.
The whole experience was very exhausting. It took a very long time. Granted, our property is out in Nelson, and we knew that ordering a kitchen from Italy would take some time, but by the time everything was done I would have to say it was almost 8 months before everything got completely resolved. We definitely are extremely happy with everything that they've done in the end, once they realized the problem and Umberto confirmed everything. They did everything in their power to make sure we had our dream kitchen, and certainly that is what happened. In the end, it is our dream kitchen. I can't say anything less. As far as the hardware and everything, it is just fantastic! It is really exceptional quality, and I do recommend them. I would recommend that type of kitchen to anybody, just because it was fantastic, but I probably would only recommend them to people that are closer to Alberta, rather than abroad.
They looked after me, and provided an exceptional product

I hired Pedini Calgary to perform renovation work in my home. I originally discovered them through an advertisement for their firm in a magazine I read. After scheduling a meeting, I spoke with them and learned about a European manufacturer called Pedini, which I liked quite a bit. Pedini Calgary is innovative about sourcing interesting products that you can't find locally. It takes up to twelve weeks to import the Pedini, but this happened to
fit well with my schedule for renovations.
Pedini Calgary understood my needs, and did well addressing the space layout design. They know their products, so the installation was not a unique effort for them. They also had good subcontractors that could work with their type of product.
With all of these positives, there was one drawback that I encountered, which is that I was required to pay for 80 of the product at the time it arrived in Canada, without seeing it first. I feel that Pedini Calgary could have been more clear regarding this part of the equation, but as I understand it they have since altered the language in their contract accordingly. At the end of the day they exceeded my expectations, and I will recommend them to others 06
